Hi, I’m Leigh. I’m a successful coach, business owner and parent who loves adventure, learning and helping others.
For more than 30 years I worked hard in a range of roles. When I found my perfect job at the age of 40, I decided it was time to fulfil my childhood dream to turn it into a business. (This HR business has now been operating for 12 years.)
Then in 2012, the business came under real pressure. And around that time my best friend and then my grandchild died. Meanwhile I was struggling to cope with my mother’s worsening dementia.
That’s when I hit the wall. I fell headlong into deep depression that lasted for 18 months. And just when I was started to claw my way out of the darkness, I was overcome by crippling anxiety attacks.
Over time I made a slow recovery with the help of meditation, medication, therapy, exercise, friends and family. I also drew on my previous life experiences and resources to help heal myself.
By 2015 I was making good progress. That’s when I decided it was time to stop working in my business and become a full-time blogger, and Work & Life Coach.
It was time to put my experience in life and business to good use. And when people started telling me that my strategies were surprisingly simple and effective – then I knew I could use them to help other women.

I now help others through one-on-one coaching (face-to-face and via Skype) and by publishing articles on this blog.
Today I’m doing work I love. And I want that for you too. I want us all to feel inspired, purposeful and strong.
